Cooperative Healthtech (CHT) is a collective of Epic consultants who formed a cooperative as an alternative to traditional consultancy models. Their goal was to emphasize collaboration, shared ownership, and long-term relationships.

We partnered with CHT to develop content and messaging that clearly articulated their cooperative structure, mission, and values, while highlighting the human qualities that differentiate them in the healthcare technology space.

The website design prioritizes warmth and approachability, supported by subtle animations and motion in headers and page elements. From a technical standpoint, the site was built to be lightweight and scalable, using Vercel for hosting and Sanity as the CMS. This setup allows CHT to easily manage content without the overhead of a complex CMS.

Our work included content creation, design, development, and continues through ongoing maintenance and support as the cooperative grows.

Content Strategy & Messaging

To authentically represent Cooperative Healthtech, we knew the voice couldn’t feel corporate or generalized, it had to sound like the co-founders themselves. We conducted in-depth interviews with each member of the cooperative to understand their individual motivations, values, and perspectives on healthcare technology and collaboration.

From these conversations, we identified shared themes and language patterns, allowing us to craft a unified voice that still feels personal and human. This foundation informed all website messaging, ensuring the content reflects not just what CHT does, but why they do it, and what makes their model meaningfully different.

Website Design & Motion

The design process began with wireframing to establish a clear, intuitive structure, followed by visual design rooted in CHT’s existing brand identity. We leaned into a warm, colorful, and welcoming aesthetic to reinforce the cooperative’s human-centered approach.

To bring that feeling to life, we introduced subtle motion and animation throughout the site, particularly in headers and transitions. These elements are intentionally understated, creating a sense of energy and flow without overwhelming the user. The result is a digital experience that feels approachable, organic, and alive.

Development & CMS

On the development side, we prioritized performance, flexibility, and ease of use. The site was built using a lightweight, modern stack, with Sanity as the headless CMS and Vercel for hosting and deployment.

This approach allows for fast load times, scalability, and a streamlined editing experience for the CHT team. By avoiding a more traditional, heavy CMS setup, we ensured the site remains nimble and easy to maintain as the cooperative evolves. It also gives the team the freedom to update content independently without sacrificing performance or structure.
