'Chemo for Christmas' began with a real story. The band Whiskey Farm wrote the song after one of its members watched someone they loved go through cancer treatment — and turned that experience into a fundraiser for the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research. They asked us to bring the song to life.

The music video

An animated music video made to raise funds for cancer research — turned into a Gold ADDY Best of Show.

Warmth inside the weight

The subject is heavy, so we leaned into warmth. We built the video as an old-fashioned Christmas storybook — pages turning, soft illustration, the glow of holiday light in a hospital ward. The idea was to hold the weight of the song without letting it become unbearable: to find the hope inside the hardship. Because the hardest battles can become the most important lessons of a life — and hope is the one thing you never let go of.
