BioForward champions the growth of Wisconsin's biohealth industry. They asked us to tell the story of one of their member companies, Catalent Biologics — a company turning molecules into medicine. The brief: capture an inspiring mission in a way that felt as accelerating as the science itself.

We traced the journey from humble beginnings in a UW-Madison lab, where researchers discovered a technology that could turn molecules into medicine, to a thriving unit of a global drug development company reaching patients worldwide.

The animation moves from the microscopic to the human — opening inside a cell as a catalyst sparks a burst of energy, following a researcher's moment of discovery, and building toward an unbreakable chain of people connected by a shared mission. It ends on the idea that there's always another molecule waiting, and the viewer could be the catalyst that brings it to life.
