FuboTV is a live TV streaming service built for sports fans — NFL, MLB, NBA, MLS, and international soccer, alongside news and entertainment. They asked us to create a series of five 15-second commercials highlighting the app's top features. Since Fubo subscribers live and breathe sports, we told each feature's story through the lens of an action-packed sports moment.
The concept: the athlete becomes the fan. Each spot opens inside an edge-of-your-seat sports moment — a hurdle runner at full speed, boxers squaring off — and lands, in one continuous move, on a Fubo viewer using the feature being showcased. No need to run: just hit record. No need to fight: everyone gets their own stream.
Hand-drawn 2D animation carried the storytelling — characters with exaggerated movement and expression, a dynamic camera language borrowed from sports broadcasting, and foreground objects driving seamless transitions from shot to shot, all in a custom graphic style built on Fubo's branding.
