Cirrus Link Solutions came to us at a pivotal moment. Their website hadn’t been updated in nearly a decade, and while their technology was foundational to the IIoT ecosystem, their digital presence didn’t reflect their true influence. As co-creators of MQTT, Cirrus Link needed a refresh that clearly communicated both their authority and their continued innovation.

The challenge was balance. Cirrus Link has been around since the early days of MQTT, and that longevity is a strength, but we wanted to avoid anything that felt outdated. Instead, we leaned into the idea of technology that lasts: tools built right the first time, trusted for decades, and still evolving.

We began by refining their existing brand, modernizing the logo and updating the color palette to feel more vibrant and contemporary while preserving a subtle retro-tech sensibility. The visual direction draws from classic technology aesthetics—bold, confident, and timeless—paired with modern execution.

From there, we redesigned the website with a clear, intuitive structure that makes it easy to understand who Cirrus Link is, what they do, and why they matter. Messaging was refreshed to emphasize their role as MQTT pioneers and trusted experts, while still speaking to current and future innovation in the IIoT space.

The brand refresh extended beyond the website. As Cirrus Link prepared to roll out their updated identity at a conference, we helped design retro-inspired swag, including t-shirts that quickly became crowd favorites, along with a new booth design featuring bold visuals and confident messaging. Together, these elements reinforced Cirrus Link’s position as both an originator and a leader in the industry.

The result is a cohesive brand system that honors Cirrus Link’s history while clearly signaling that they remain at the forefront of IIoT technology.
